Well, I am home and what a great weekend it was!!
(To see what I am talking about go to previous post)

Songs covered (that I recall):
 Bloc Party - Banquet
                   Positive Tension

Foo Fighters - Everlong
Incubus - Nebula
               Pardon Me
The Killers - ?
Coldplay - Shiver
Head Automatica - Beating Hearts Baby
Kanya West - Gold Digger

There were 600 or so photos...where do I begin to pick which ones to post?!!

So, I'll re-cap the weekend with a list.....and post some pics

My list of observations from the weekend:
1. College kids are much nicer and more fun than regular adults
2. Why do adults get so snotty and pretentious after they leave college?
3. I didn't go to college, so I didn't have to become snotty and pretentious.
4. College myth: If you go to Cici's on Sunday for brunch and eat a buttload...it will last you all week (I tried explaining that the human body doesn't operate that way...but they wouldn't hear of it)
5. If you are invited to a party...do NOT go into the Hosts bedroom, and pour sneaky punch in the frogs bowl which is sitting on the upper shelf of his closet unless you wish to die.
6. As *the Mama*...I do have a few more rights....I easliy won a Fu card (many have almost died trying to win one) and if I want I can take said cards and let Ricky have one with no dire consequences (Ricky deserved it...he saved Randi's camera from a beer by tossing the beer into the crowd all while still playing and not hitting me...that probably deserves 2 Fu cards)
7. Its OK to have beer spill all over your shoulder when you turn to see its the girl that told you over and over all night..."I just love your son!" (and no, it wasn't Amanda)
8. Cops and neighbors *CAN BE* fabulous and not break up a very loud and happening party.
9. If you attend the practice session of the band, you will acquire advance deafment, which then enables you to enjoy the concert 5 feet from the amps the whole night.
10. If you are *the Mama*, you can get to the front of the crowd easier.
11. Having someone as cute as Darrin jump all over my toes is OK.
12. When your *possible* future son and daughter in law create a front band and name it Fetus Stomp, there is no need for panic.
13. Receiving one of the very special necklaces purchased by Fu from the taco bell toy machine is...well....what can I say....I think they love me. (notice what is around our necks in the pics)
14. Mass quantities of french toast and pancakes (no bacon or anything else) eaten at 2 in the afternoon is indeed just what is needed to clear the head in preperation for getting wasted that night.
15. College apt complexes that furnish their apts with *This End Up* type furniture are very wise.
16. There is no need to worry if you are in college and your car breaks down...there is always someone craming 10 ppl into their car and heading to where you need to go.
17. When in college, after you all make a decision, you must then stand around and chill before putting said decision into place.
18. One of the joys of being a mom is watching your kids grow up to be amazing adults.
19. The very sweet girls who live above my son actually apologized if they made too much noise and I couldn't sleep....I was out like a light....but, how so very considerate of them! (Everyone was so very accomidating and nice to me!)
20. Raising your kids to have great senses of humor (I must contribute a large portion of that talent to their dad) really does pay off.

OK, now for some pics to explain the events:

This is Fu...my oldest daughters boyfriend, one of my son's close friends, the host of the party and the guitarist for the opening number, an original performed by 'Fetus Stomp' (it was my idea to add the beads)

Amanda (my son's girlfriend) needs one more gulp of her beer to be ready as she is the lead screamer for opening act.

My son Greg on drums and Curtis on bass (for Fetus Stomp)

And now for the very amazing performence of Fetus Stomp (yes, ppl, twas a joke)

And now for 'The Wynsomes'
 Miles (lead singer/frontman)
Judson (bass and never ending smile)
Ricky (guitarist)
Greg (my son, the amazing drummer)
Schmitty (not pictured in this but the always composed guitarist)
These guys have known each other since Jr. High and I don't think my son could have picked better friends.

Greg on the drums...isn't he cute?!

Check out the veins in Miles neck

Judson checking the veins to make sure they don't explode

Hot as hell...in many ways

Look at those sizzlin drums!

A pleased crowd...Darrin (another good friend of my son's) is in front of me wearing the Yankees cap....)

Greg stops the set to welcome and introduce me (I'm the older/overweight one in the crowd..lol)

Then Greg proceeded to say I was 'the coolest mom' and that the next song was dedicated to me....I'll proudly accept the title.

Fu and I dancing

The proud mom with her very talented son
