*Sweet Dreams* by Aleve

An observation:
I have chronic pain, but I hate taking medications, so 2 Aleve is about all I will do, and it takes the edge off enough that I can function.
I don't sleep well at night, so I have been taking it at night, to get a full 8 hours of sleep.
Here is what I have noticed: When I take the Aleve (which does help me sleep better) I have very 'nice' dreams.
Last night in my dream I was getting ready for church (I was at the church) and I was curling my hair with the curling iron and this guy who I had a crush on in the 8th grade (he looked like Scott Baio) came up to me, kissed me on the cheek and said "Hi sweety"....I slapped him on the butt and we laughed...the dream went on to other very sweet things.
Also, I noticed I get complimented a lot in these dreams...or I'm the hero.

The thing that is striking is that the dreams are so *nice*....literally...very sweet and enjoyable... not my normal dreams.
Now, I know drugs do affect our dream state...in numerous ways depending on the drug.
I also know that dreams are a result of our thoughts that day.
But what seems strange is the dreams I have when using the Aleve seems to have nothing to do with my thoughts that day.
I think I am going to pay closer attention and see just what the pattern is...but I found this very interesting, and well, nice!

P.S.  Some have commented that they don't know what Aleve is - it is simply an over the counter pain reliever like Tylenol, except it has a different ingrediant than Tylonol (it is Naproxen sodium) and you can take 1 or 2 in an 8 hour period vs 2 every 4 hours. Seems to work well for arthritis and muscles aches.....and Aleve had cute commercials during the Superbowl
